We hope you are enjoying the wonderful summer and staying safe.  As our country is still navigating through the pandemic, Gift of Giving (GoG), a non-profit 501c3 organization, is starting to organize our annual Holiday Drive to assist the families in the community.  

 

WHAT IS GIFT OF GIVING HOLIDAY DRIVE?

The Holiday Drive supports Avondale students in the free and reduced lunch program by providing students with basic needs such as winter items and food for the 2 weeks of Holiday break. 

 

GoG works closely with Avondale staff and families to ensure that students receive the needed items for school through an annual survey.  The information helps ensure that the students receive the much needed item for winter.

WHAT IS OUR FUNDRAISING GOAL - $40,000?

Based on the past several year’s data, GoG and community partners have estimated to spend $40,000 for the Holiday Drive which provided services for 500 students ($80/student spending).  $32,000 went to purchase high need items and $8000 went to purchase non-perishable breakfast and lunch items.

100 % of your donation goes to the students and your donation is tax deductible (tax id:  47-5477479).
